I love the late George Carlin. He was truly a genius and philosopher and patriot. And! We didn’t kill him or throw him in jail (well, maybe once or twice, but we’ll skip that). I also love Baseball although recently, through my transition, watching sports has been about #756,109 on my priority list. However, I grew up loving baseball and pretty much not caring about football. Baseball always seemed gentlemanly and calm. You might call it feminine, but it’s not really. It’s just civilized. Now, football is not a bad sport. I recently won my fantasy football league without watching a single game! I used statistics and skill (yes, I’m a huge nerd, sue me, or hire me rather).
I’ll try and get back into Baseball as my pendulum swings back, and I settle into my new life. Don’t really care, but maybe.
But I digress, it’s Carlin’s stage, and this is so perfect. It also has a bit of a gender metaphor to it. I wonder if FTMs have experienced an increased interest in sports after they began taking Testosterone. I lost a lot of my interest as my T diminished and I started Estrogen.
Anyway, funny funny!
