If you live with the assumption that death is impossible because energy cannot be destroyed, a few things happen. You realize that the mad, incessant rush to extend our lives for a few days is just a waste. You also realize that life is a waveform, and what we call “death” is really just the trough or lowest point of the wave. We are falling and rising for all eternity.
What I take from this is that we have always been and will always be. As this concept washes over me, I am filled with total bliss. It is to say that we live in heaven already. We are already in the afterlife. Nothing you can do will make this untrue. You are free to fail as many times as you want. The collisions of our lives with all of their failures and successes are what make the beautiful confusion of what is.
I get to create myself today. I get to surf my board against your wave as well. We are all crashing into one another. And love flows. And happiness is. And sadness aches. And friendship holds our hands forever as we fall forward into the sunset.
I believe that death is impossible. Therefore, I believe that life is everything. Therefore I believe that we should have the best damn time we can possibly imagine, striving and working and playing and loving and being free for all of eternity.
